Once again...NO MATTER your political leanings, do you REALLY want your hard earned money funding an organization that facilitates illegal activities...i.e., funding a mortgage for a brothel...trafficing of underaged girls for these purposes...and TEACHING TAX FRAUD? I don't!!
Also, please keep in mind that this same group was promised by Obama to have a hand in the "reshaping" of this country. I went to pull the video of that pre-election speech....and surprise... surprise... it has been "pulled". This is the same group that the Census Bureau had put in charge of the 2010 census taking! They have since, the airing of the first video, FIRED ACORN. Also, keep in mind that at least 50 of their members are under indictment for voter fraud in connection to the 2008 election, having registered Mickey Mouse and dead folks! It was announced today that a FORMAL investigation into ACORN has been requested.
My question is: Why did it take these two young journalists, James O'Keefe and Hanna Giles to bring this to light? Where are our leaders? Where is the main stream media? Well, today, they are attacking these two very brave young journalists. HELLOOOO!

ACORN even had the audacity to show up at the March on Washgington, to sell "DON'T TREAD ON ME" flags to the marchers. The flags, by the way were paid for with OUR tax dollars...and who was the sole beneficiary of the proceeds? ACORN! The marchers took care of the matter in short order:

...from the information that I found, ALL Congressional seats are up and it is not too early to research and start becoming an INFORMED voter.
11 REASONS WHY THE 2010 ELECTIONS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT IN U. S. HISTORY
1. Within the first 100 days of this Administration, 19 of America's largest banks have been forced to undergo stress tests by the federal government to determine if they must be supervised by the federal government. *Due to this, we, the American taxpayers are now shareholders of the Bank of America.
2. Within the first 100 days of this Administration, the federal government became the major shareholder in two of the US Big 3 automakers: Ford, GM and Chrysler. The Administration fired their CEO's and appointed hand-picked executives with NO experience in the auto industry and executive compensations are now dictated not by company Board of Directors, but by the federal government.
3. In these past 8 months, Obama has appointed 32+ Czars, WITHOUT Congressional approval, accountable only to him, not to the voters, who have control over a wide range of U.S. policy decisions. These include Stimulus Accountability Czar, Urban Czar, Compensation Czar, Iran Czar, Auto Industry Czar, Cyber Security Czar, Energy Czar, Bank Bailout Czar...and the list goes on...the most recent one appointed was Mark Lloyd, "Radio" Czar. Remember, although they are not accountable to US...WE PAY THEM.
4. In the past 8 months our federal deficit has grown to $915 Billion and that is just within the first 6 months. Friday, August 21, it was announced that the budget will grow to $9 TRILLION, over the next 10 years. Congress in this time has passed Obama's $3.53 TRILLION federal budget for fiscal 2010. 5. The Justice Department under this Administration, the FBI has been ordered to read Miranda rights to high-value detainees captured on the battlefield and held at U. S. military detention facilities in Afghanistan. Obama has ordered the closing of the Guantanamo detention facility with no plan for rhe disposition of the 200-plus individutals held there. Some have been sent to live in freedom in Bermuda at our expense. And recently it was announced that most will be brought to the U. S. and held in Michigan. Some of our returning U. S. veterans have been labeled as "terrorists" and placed on a watch list.
6. The federal government has sought power to seize key companies whose failures could (not have) jeopardize the financial system. There is a new regulatory agency to control loans, credit cards, mortgage-backed securities and other financial products offered to the public.
7. Obama traveled to the Middle East and bowed before the Saudia king and repeatedly has apologized for America's past actions. He traveled to Latin America and warmly greeted Venezuela's strongman, Hugo Chavez and sat quietly as Daniel Ortega charged America with terrorist aggression in Central America.
8. This Administration is now in the process of dismanteling conservative talk radio through the imposition of the "Fairness Doctrine", (and this is being implimented by the new "Radio" Czar, Mark LLoyd). Radio stations not meeting Mr. Lloyd's approval will be charged a License Fee amounting to 100% of the stations' Operating Budget for the year. Failure to pay this amount for their license will result in their license being awarded (not charged for) to a minority station needing a license. This is called "localism". It will systematically eliminate many stations. IF at any time a station violates Mr. Lloyd's approved agenda for the stations, he will pull their license and again award them to other stations, following his agenda.
9. There is work in progress by this Administration to limit our Second Amendment Right to keep and bear arms. They want to reinstate the so-called assault weapons ban which would prohibit the sale of ANY type of firearm that does not require the shooter to pull the trigger every time a round is fired. The Attorney General wants to limit the sale of ALL firearms and ammunition that the public generally uses for self protection.
10. This Adminstration has plans that would eliminate State's rights guaranteed by the Tenth Admendment and give the federal government sweeping new powers over policies currently under the province of local and state governments and voted on by the people. This would control the schools, energy production, the environment, health care, and the wealth of every U. S. citizen.
11. This Administration, the courts and federal government have ignored the United States Constitution and have seized powers which the founders of our country fought to restrict.

I miss them...but...although I love them, I love our country more. I will not back down because I believe that what is happening in our country is so very important, not just to us..but FOR our children and grandchildren..and for generations to come. It is our responsibility, as citizens of this great country to be AWARE and to PARTICIPATE. If you do not, then one morning, in not the so far future, you may wake up and wonder what the heck happened....as you slept...silently...unaware...unconcerned.

Find your real voice and let it be heard by those in Washington who were hired BY YOU to represent YOU, to protect YOUR best interest, not serve their own agenda or the agenda of those in the White House. This is true, no matter WHO is in that house. We do NOT have a democracy...our form of government, founded by our forefathers is a REPUBLIC! (says so in the Pledge of Allegiance). As of this morning, August 25, 2009, the White House is still collecting information on those who speak out. They just moved the site. I found it simply by Googling "EMAIL WHITE HOUSE". One of the subtitles that you have to choose before entering the information....is to indicate if it is something you heard on a site, an email, read in a paper or heard from someone.
