         Once again...NO MATTER your political leanings, do you REALLY want your hard earned money funding an organization that facilitates illegal activities...i.e., funding a mortgage for a brothel...trafficing of underaged girls for these purposes...and TEACHING TAX FRAUD....REALLY?  I don't!!

      Also, please keep in mind that this same group was promised by Obama to have a hand in the "reshaping" of this country.  I went to pull the video of that pre-election speech....and surprise... surprise... it has been "pulled".  This is the same group that the Census Bureau had put in charge of the 2010 census taking!  They have since, the airing of the first video, FIRED ACORN.  Also, keep in mind that at least 50 of their members are under indictment for voter fraud in connection to the 2008 election, having registered Mickey Mouse and dead folks!  It was announced today that a FORMAL investigation into ACORN has been requested.

      My question is:  Why did it take these two young journalists, James O'Keefe and Hanna Giles to bring this to light? Where are our leaders? Where is the main stream media? Well, today, they are attacking these two very brave young journalists.   HELLOOOO!

     ACORN even had the audacity to show up at the March on Washgington, to sell "DON'T TREAD ON ME" flags to the marchers.  The flags, by the way were paid for with OUR tax dollars...and who was the sole beneficiary of the proceeds? ACORN!  The marchers took care of the matter in short order:

    To date, ACORN continues to operate, although under investigation.  Their many arms and branches of corruption have not yet been chopped off.  This organization MUST be stopped.  Portions of their funding is OUR TAX MONEY!  They were caught red handedly willing to facilitate child trafficing and child prostitution.  Some of their members are now serving jail terms for voter registration fraud and more are under indictment or investigation for the same.  Even MORE audacity...ACORN has a lawsuit against the government for placing a HOLD on the tax funds they receive. BUT...built into the healthcare bill, ACORN, will once again be funded. OUTRAGEOUS! (This amounts to your catching a robber and then having that robber sue YOU....for catching him!)  Seems to be the "American Way" now, per the folks in Washington.

      Have you stopped and asked yourself or others...IF this healthcare bill is so great...why is it that Congressmen and Senators' votes had to be BOUGHT in order to pass it...both in the House and in the Senate?

My Way News - Neb.'s Nelson sees backlash on health reform plan

     IF you are not up on this...Senator Nelson of Nebraska, held out his...the crucial 60th vote for the healthcare bill in the Senate based upon the "abortion language" in the bill.  House Majority Leader, Harry Reid, took Nelson into a back room NOT accessable to the Minority Party, and offered him a deal that Nelson could not refuse...actually, I think it was more the case of Nelson naming the PRICE for his vote.  The deal was that IF Nelson would VOTE YES....the federal government would give Nebraska a "pass" on their portion of the Medicaid taxes due to the government for their part of Medicaid.  Now ...WHO is going to pick up those taxes? WE ARE. EVERY OTHER STATE IN THE U.S. will have to COVER Nebraska's portion. You. Me.  And...how long is this deal good for? FOREVER!!!! Fair? I can't afford it...perhaps YOU can.  At present, there are 10 State Attorney Generals investigating this "deal" and legal action is sure to follow.  This is not only illegal..it is UNconstitutional and the federal government canNOT treat any one state differently, in this regard, than all the other states. 

      28 USC Sec. 201. BRIBERY of a Public Official (b) Whoever-(1) directly or indirectly, corruptly gives, offers or promises anything of value to any public official or person who has been selected to be a public official, to give anything of value to any other person OR ENTITY, with intent -

      (A) to influence any official act shall be fined under this title or not more than three times the monetary equivalent of the thing of value, whichever is greater, or imprisoned for not more than fifteen years, OR BOTH, and may be disqualified from holding any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.

     I see no exceptions made for majority leaders or committee chairmen, offering millions and hundreds of millions of dollars in exchange for votes on a bill.  Now, I believe that the attorney generals investigating are doing so under the "equal protection" portion of the Constitution, which would be appropriate.  Some argue that the above Title is not appropriate as it references the offenders as individuals and those who sold their votes, did so for their states.  I contend the Title is appropriate under the language of "OR ENTITY". Also, Nebraska and Lousiana were not the only states whose representatives sold out their vote.  There were several others including Nevada...shock shock (Senator Harry Reid's state) and Vermont. I will gather the complete list for follow-up.  Bottom line...there is enough corruption to go around in Washington these days.

      Please be assured where you caught selling out YOUR vote...you would be in big trouble. ALSO...if that doesn't upset you, please keep in mind that these bribes were made with and will be funded by YOUR TAX DOLLARS!

     For what it is worth, I truly feel that Nelson intended to vote YES all along, but after seeing the great deal that Congresswoman, Mary Landrieu of Lousianna received for HER vote on the healthcare bill in the House, he held out, to see what HE could garner.  Of course, that is only MY humble opinion, but, let us just say, it did not take long for Senator Nelson to change his vote.  I will add, however, that, this deal came ONLY after Harry Reid's threat to have one of the large bases in Nebraska added to the "base closure list". See, bribery isn't always about GIVING something...it can be about TAKING SOMETHING AWAY.

     Before you comment that  "this has gone of for years..it is just politics"...blah blah blah...stop! Ask yourself this: Just because this has been done for years, does it make it RIGHT?  In a word: NO.  Do you want it stopped or are you willing to let things rock along as usual..and lately, corruption in Washington has reached a whole new level and never has so much been at stake for us. Never.

        QUESTION:  WHO spends $1.7 million to keep such a mundane record as their birth certificate secret?  WHO has a document he claims is his birth certificate SEALED by the governor of Hawaii....UNLESS...there is something amiss?  In the state of Tennessee, even to RENEW your driver's license, you MUST produce a CERTIFIED COPY of your BIRTH CERTIFICATE!  I know..I have had to show mine TWICE!  Once when obtaining my TN license and then again...when I renewed.  WHO would not just whip out the document and be done with it?  Someone NOT legal, that is who....just sayin'....

       FEEL SAFER?

      We were all horrified..saddened and anger by the terrorist attack that killed 14 of our military members, including taking the life of a purely innocent unborn baby.  When Obama chose to make a statement about the attack, he cautioned that we should not jump to conclusions...which, I found interesting, as I recall an incident involving a certain professor friend of his and a police officer, doing his job, prompting Obama to state that while he did NOT have all the facts, he concluded and stated that the police officer "acted stupidly"...but..oh well, depends on the players, I guess.  BUT...the point is, he refused to call it an act of terrorism...which, of course, is exactly what it was.  This has become crystal clear even to the blinde, as more and more information about the shooter's contacts, statements and actions leading up to that horrible day at Ft. Hood.

       Even before that, a young man was caught in Dallas, trying to blow up one of Dallas' largest buildings.  If Obama has addressed that, I have missed it.  Then, of course, there was the attempt to blow up Delta's Flight #253 on Christmas Day.

        Was I the only one who remembered Todd Beamer and all the brave passengers of the fight that went down in the Pennsylvania field on September 11, 2001?  OUR system DID fail...miserably and DANGEROUSLY.  Lack of communication between security entities....purposely or not, the result was the same.  POLICITAL CORRECTNESS continues to be an obstruction to the security of this country...to our safety and that of our families.  IF an 18 year old kills someone you do NOT chase down a 75-year-old man for it. COMMION SENSE...NOT offense.  WE KNOW WHO WANTS TO KILL EVERY ONE OF US!  But, even with all this, we MUST take a look at who is in charge...and it is not pretty.  It does not instill confidence nor a sense of security.  The ONLY system that worked Christmas day was that some very observant passengers saw and REALIZED something was wrong and one very brave man took action to stop it.  The terrorist system DID work.  They were able to get a man with NO PASSPORT...NO LUGGAGE...PAYING IN CASH..onto one of Delta's airplanes. UNbelievable...yet...this happend, more or less, same scenario, on September 11, 2001.....didn't it?  This terrorist says there are 25 more just like him....on their way.  I believe him....now...WHO is going to STOP them...and HOW?  Are they going to continue to take MY Mary Kay mositurizer from me and let the mid-eastern guy behind me walk through with God knows what in his carry on or even in his shorts? Or do we LOOK at the ones who ACTUALLY pose a threat to us?  Well, my personal response has been to contact my Senator and my Congress man to demand Janet Napolitano's resignation...for starters.

       Was I the only one that found it odd that one of the kids that accompaied the Obamas' on their vacation, bumped his head on a surfboard...Obama immediately stopped his golf game and rushed to their rented estate to check on him.....and yet...we were attacked..no alleged to it...no attempt to it..we were...as it DID terrify people...it took him 72 hours to speak to our country about it?  Actually...and sadly, I don't find this surprising..as it has become his pattern.  But...it says a lot.  As with anything in life....it is all about PRIORITIES.  As a people...as AMERICANS....where are OURS?

     HEALTHCARE...the new "H" word and Introducing the "R" word...RESULTS.... 

      I joined an organization created by a Facebook friend, GREG HALVORSON, "SOLDIERS WITHOUT BOOTS".  It's mission is to simply get at and bring out the TRUTH of what is going on in our country, in our Capitol and bring it all to the surface...and in short...TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY.  Recently, Greg has this urge to spend some time with those on the Left...those that seem to think that all that is happening is "OK".  I must say, it took a lot for Greg to do this, but it was with the intention to educate, at least, that is my impression.  The following is part of his posting about this encounter:

We all are.  When America ceases to produce, when its greatest resource, its people, is beholden to Government, all of humanity pays a dear price."

      Below is a link to information that should concern ALL of us..most especially us Geezers.  Now, before you read it, please know..and some of you may already know, that it really is not news.  MANY physicians are now refusing to take on NEW Medicare patients.  MANY are refusing to take on NEW Medicaid patients.  Here in Tennessee, it is almost impossible to find a physician who will accept a Medicaid patient, as TennCare is basically a very broken system.

       IF you could get your hands on the healthcare bills you may not find specific "healthcare rationing" language. BUT...it is there, built in...vis-a-vis cuts in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements, caps on physicians fees and in the fact that the bill will eventually destroy private healthcare insurance carriers, forcing everyone into the Medicaid...government run healthcare plan.  It also still has provisions for an Insurance Exchange Commission that will dictate to private insurance carriers the types of plans they can and canNOT offer..and to WHOM.  IF you are fortunate...and I use that word loosely, actually, to be able to keep your great coverage plan...for awhile, you will be charged 40% tax on your premium.  Now, that tax may be aimed at your employer, but make no mistake..YOU will be the one paying for it.  It will be directed to YOUR portion of the premium....it is that or small business owners will not just be cutting your coverage, but your JOB.

       As many of you know, and for those of you who do NOT know, I worked in the business side of healthcare for 25 years....from front end to the back and everywhere in between.  Recently, at a luncheon held where I used to work, I had a chance to talk to a friend of mine that handles my former employer's Medicare accounts, monitoring reimbursements, filing appeals, etc.  I asked her what the average ACTUAL Medicare reimbursement is these days.  When I retired it was at about 40% ACTUAL payment.  Today, it is about 3% ACTUAL PAYMENT...and Obama wants Medicare reimbursements cut by 21%????????????  Result: Physicians will stop taking Medicare patients.  The patients' only alternative will be to head to an ER.  The hospitals are prohibited by law to refuse treatment upon the basis of inability to pay.  You think the ER's are bad now? You ain't seen nothin' yet, folks, if this monster is passed.  Result: HOSPITAL FAILURES.  Hospitals are like any business in that they must cover losses...somehow..or they fail.  Result: Government steps in..bails them out..and we will have GOVERNMENT RUN HOSPITALS.  Ever been to a VA facility? It ain't pretty. 

     You not only have to read what is said, but you must THINK IT THROUGH to the RESULTS, the consequences.  DID you know that it is unconstitutional to mandate the purchase of a product and/or service, by the government? True.  Now, many  know that our states require auto insurance in order to get one's driver's license, tags and to avoid a ticket. That is a STATE requirement, and you DO have the choice to NOT carry it..not drive..etc. IF you do not purchase it, ok...just hope you re not in an accident or asked for it. BUT..you will NOT be fined or carted off to jail if you DO NOT purchase it, whether you intend to use it or not.  The provision in the healthcare bill DOES JUST THAT.  DID you know that many of those NOT covered at present, are UNcovered BY CHOICE.  Some rich folks choose to pay cash..many young folks who think they are 10 foot tall and bullit proof save the money of an insurance premium and buy other stuff with it.  BUT...this choice will be taken from them.  ALSO...the current proposed healthcare bill does NOT cover all, as it was touted to.  It still will leave 30 million UNcovered.  It does not address our actual healthcare system problems. 

Why the Personal Mandate to Buy Health Insurance Is Unprecedented and Unconsti 

     IN FACT...while our current system has flaws...flaws that need to be fixed, we did NOT have a healthcare CRISIS ....UNTIL OBAMA CREATED IT.  IF this bill is passed, it will ACTUALLY CREATE ALL THE PROBLEMS OBAMA SAID HE WAS GOING TO CURE.  TRUE reform must include TORT REFORM ("Loser Pays" would be a great start)...it must allow true competition between insurance carriers allowing across state line pruchasing of plans and true coverage, portable coverage.  You can leave a job...take your insurance even to another state!  As for the elimination of "pre-existing conditions"...to a point, I disagree.  Somehow, and I NEVER thought I would say this..but it is unfair to the carriers.  It is the same as not carrying auto insurance until you have a wreck, then purchasing coverage and expecting the auto insurance to step up and pay your liabilities based upon one premium...with the risk of YOU then dropping them.  Result: SKY HIGH PREMIIUMS!  Contrary to what you hear from Obama and others, people are NOT dropping dead from no insurance coverage.  Remember the ER? 

.....stay tuned...every day there is something..a new crisis...new issue...so...I will be getting back with you.  IN THE MEANTIME, please...contact your Congressmen and Senators..and again..TELL THEM TO VOTE NO!!  UNLESS..you are ok with the RESULTS.

        Dr. Brad Hennefent, of Florida, is a physician dedicating much of his time and energy to real and proper healthcare reform that will put patients FIRST and remove both the government and commercial insurance companies from the middle of what should strictly be a doctor-patient relationship.  He also feels that patients should not only be in charge of their OWN healthcare decisions, with the counsel of their physician, but should be in charge of their MONEY in this regard.
